The professional restorers at SOS Art laboratory are constantly studying and honing their skills in order to keep abreast of innovations in their field. They do so in order to offer the greatest possible range of state-of-the-art conservation services, and to conform their methods to the requirements and standards of the Restoration Guild and the public institutions which they serve. The laboratory meets the requirements of the Italian Decree DM 249/00 (later modified by DM 420/01) for restoration, and ordinary and extraordinary maintenance of decorated surfaces of architectonic works of art, as well as works of art of historical, artistic, and archeological interest. The company is constantly updating its working methods. Specific knowledge and qualified professionalism allow SOS Art to perform the highest quality work. The laboratory focuses on the restoration of works of art such as paintings on canvas and wood panels, polychrome sculptures, frames and ecclesiastical furniture. It also restores decorated architectonic surfaces such as frescoes and murals. |
